Event Coverage

Special Event Services

When you organize a large special event or athletic competition, you want to insure that the best care is available in case of a medical emergency. Monroe Community Ambulance and its affiliate ambulance services are one of the largest providers of special event emergency medical services in the U.S., covering NASCAR auto races at Michigan International Speedway and the Monroe County Fair. In addition to standing by at school sports events, we also cover the Fourth of July Fireworks Show at Sterling State Park and more.

As one of our many community services, we offer “pull out” standby event coverage for nonprofit organizations and schools. If the ambulance is not needed elsewhere, it will stay at or near the event.

Honor Guard (see also Special Teams)

Our sister company Huron Valley Ambulance has an Honor Guard that represents our organization and our employees at company events, funerals and ceremonial events in the community. Our team was formed after the line-of-duty death of JCA medic Cheryl Kiefer in 2008.
